MAN AND THE SEA |
This is the ultimate predator of the sea. For eons, his livelihood has been
linked to the sea, and even today, many of his kind still rely on it for
subsistence. Paradoxically, he is also the one responsible for drastically
changing and/or destroying the nature and structure of the shore communities.
The first step in the long road to conservation is the ability to appreciate
the seashore for what it is. We trust our readers are well along that road.
