Family Antennaridae

This fish has a feather-like appendage on its snout which it uses as a lure for unsuspecting fish. The large mouth then suddenly opens, creating a powerful suction current. Its pectoral (side) fins have also been modified into muscular walking limbs. It is docile and not poisonous. (Length up to 15cm).
