Peanut
Worm The most common sipunculid on local shores is Phascolosoma arcuata (= P. lurco of many books), the Peanut Worm (length when relaxed 5-10cm). During low tide, the worms extend their introverts (proboscis) from below the mud surface to feed on detrital material. |
