![]() Stoichactis Order Actiniaria These are solitary animals with a central mouth and numerous flower-like tentacles which contain highly venomous stinging cells which aid the anemone to capture prey. Stoichactis are large anemones which have short tentacles, the tips in some species being swollen. It forms a symbiotic relationship with many species of damselfishes. (Diameter up to 60cm). |
