Bead AnemoneEplactis Order Actiniaria ![]() This is common on shores, especially on rocks high on the intertidal zone, often in rock pools. Occasionally, they can be found on sand. During low tide, the anemone retracts its tentacles and appears like a dark blob of jelly. It feeds on small drifting animals when the tide is in. (Diameter 1-2cm). |
