Mandai Besar mangroves, 3rd July 2003 Melissa Ong and Samantha Sng directed and produced Nature at Our Doorstep which was broadcast between June to August 2003 and hosted by the energetic Yandi. They were easily persuaded to include Mandai mangroves in their series and brought along an enthusiastic film crew. This team was the first to wade into mudlflats with their expensive equipment to help introduce viewers to the importance of Mandai mangroves. Photos by N. Sivasothi |
